When it comes to my laptops and desktops, I’ve got the right browser for every task. For surfing the web, I use Chrome. It’s fast and light. For web development, I use FireFox. While many will argue, I prefer the FireBug plugin to the development tools of Chrome. For making sure a sad majority of the world at least semi-decently sees my products, I test in Internet Explorer. In my most recent project, a decision was made to support only IE9+. This gives a lot of room for HTML5/CSS3 creatively.

While not much more than a gimmick, the Satellite Eyes Mac OS X application makes your desktop wallpaper show the image of your satellite location.
